Baxter, who calls himself a high-stakes recreational player, confines most of his poker to various home games around LA. It was at one of these games that he met Mori Eskandari, who was so impressed by Baxter's play that he invited him to take a seat on High Stakes Poker. Though Baxter walked away from the table about $2,000 poorer, he earned the respect of all of the pros he played with.
