From novice to master in less than two years

One of online poker’s best known pros, Brain began his online career in 2005, playing just $.25/$.50 Limit Hold ‘em. He quickly made his way up through the ranks and officially went pro in 2006. This is when he also started playing No-Limit Hold ‘em, and within a year moved from the smallest No-Limit stakes to the $200/$400 level. Brian is also an excellent Pot-Limit Omaha player, and also plays at the highest PLO stakes available online.

Although not known as a big tournament player, Brian nonetheless hopes to win a major title someday. He’s already made the final table of a WSOP-C event and has the talent to succeed on the tournament circuit. Brian is also one of the lead instructors at the online poker site CardRunners.com, where he and other top online players make instructional videos to help aspiring players reach their full potential.
